Dentist: do they charge less for less teeth??

So the 3 of us went to the Dentist, my sister works for one. Jessica and I went for a cleaning well as you can see she is running low on teeth. She still managed to get 7 cavities and need a root canal. Nothing makes a Mother more proud then having the dentist hand you your kids chart and it is all covered in red. Because you have to pay for every red spot.
For some reason Jessica had a true soul attachment to her front tooth. She wiggled that thing FOREVER. The night before we to the dentist I convinced her to let me see it professing that I wouldn't pull it out, then my Mom said Jessica look over there and snap out it came. She said Mom how do you do it? I said what she said make things that are supposed to hurt not hurt? I said it is a Mom thing!! ( If only it was true)
I had no cavities, and the dentist felt bad for me so he gave me a bleach kit. Should I be offended or not? That is kind of like someone loving you so much they sign you up for extreme makeover. You are beautiful on the inside but the outside could use a little work. NO I am kidding I have been wanting to bleach my teeth.
Lila obviously doesn't have any teeth but I got an impression of her hands and feet. All of the assistants and hygienists passed her around while Jessica and I were in the chairs, getting scrapped and scrubbed.

Family Outing

So this is my family at the parade. It is a small town affair (bad choice of word). I mean a small town gathering. Anyway this is just me my parents and 2 of my sisters and their families. Oh there are more much much more. No I am not in the photo someone has to take the picture. The business going on in the back ground is a "TAG SALE" (to all the New Havenites) or just a yard sale if you are from Idaho.

Inventive or just CRAZY?

Guess how hill billy I am. Remember Lila is on her blanket for jaundice.
Well my Mom and Dad have a portable generator it isn't huge it is about the size of a lunch box cooler. Anyway I will be attending the parade in the morning with Lila her biliblanket machine and a generator. Do you think people will look at us and think what kind of Mother takes a baby out who is hooked up to machines? Well she is healthy except the jaundice thing and I need to get out. I am inventive but is it wise I don't know. I will also be attending the rodeo that night I used to compete in this rodeo as a queen and barrel racer. So I really wanted to go.
Maybe I won't go to everything who knows I just want to get out. I will take pictures.

I MADE IT TO MY PPW

What is my PPW? Well my friends it is my Pre-pregnancy Weight. I am back to my before Lila weight but not my before Jessica weight.
Now lets not get too excited I am back to the weight not the Pre-pregnancy shape. Hopefully that will be remedied as soon as I can work out again. Since Lila is still on the blanket that means that we don't even get to go for walks which is really sad because it is really nice out. Hopefully the Dr. will let her off the blanket on Monday, then I will start the stroller boot camp. So keep your fingers crossed.

Ok so I don't know how to spell it but I want one quite bad right now. It is almost 5 am (we all know how I like that hour) and my contractions are about 3 to 5 minutes apart. Dang those babies hurt. Anyway I have been doing this all night but I think now I need to go to the doctor, I feel bad waking my Mom up this early but. I could go in and have them check and call her in a little bit, then she could sleep a little longer. At least Jessica got a full nights sleep.
Ok in case you are wondering Lila is not due until June 16 but what would I do if something went according to plan the kid wants out and I want to accommodate.

The Pink Bandit

In my last post I told about my ugly morning appearance. Well let me tell you how it all went down, I do mean DOWN!
Ok so large lady in pink bathrobe not so pretty sneaky. I left the safety of the computer room ducking & peering around corners. Then I was left to face off with the large picture windows and about 50 yards of open space (ok maybe less). So I ran with my robe flying behind me like a super hero cape. Unfortunately the carpet ends and tile takes over about half way through. I was like a pink flying super hero then I hit the tile and with a less than glorious thump I was a large pink mess on the floor bearing my testimony every where. The large thud caught the attention of all 5 million workers out in the yard and the view they had thanks to the picture window was FRONT ROW. All mouthed "are you ok" I slithered down to my dungeon in the basement. I promptly went about making myself as presentable as possible. It takes a long time to go from zero to beautiful these days. When I felt maybe I was ready I proudly waddle up the stairs prepared to pretend that nothing happened. And show all 5 million of those workers I was feeling fine and looking. Fine? Anyway
The phone rang for my Dad who was outside so I grabbed it and out I went ready to show off the new and improved me. All 5 million workers were....GONE!!! They had to go get supplies.
So much for my big come back. I still had a good laugh at what a mess I was and I can only imagine the conversations in the trucks on the way to Home Depot. I am glad that I could brighten their lives if only for a minute.
Yes for those of you wondering I do realize that if I had just walked like a normal person none of this would have happened. But what is my life without drama. NOTHING

Ok last one this morning I promise

Visualize this (no I will not take a picture) I am very large and pregnant wearing nothing but a old pink robe. My hair is in a bun on the very top of my head (to accomplish more volume when it is down) let us not forget the bad breath morning sickness leaves behind. Ok why tell you all of this ?
Because again the landscaping crew is here and they have never seen me any other way. Ok sometimes I am eating that is cute I know. My parents yard is full of men and I look like the appitomy of why they shouldn't get married and have kids. Hey fear is good for the soul right? Anyway now I have to find a sneaky way down stairs to my cave and get a little better looking without having the entire crew see me in this state yet again. I will let you know if my stealth mission is accomplished. Lets not forget the fat pregnant lady part of this endevor

Girl of the Week

Jessica is girl of the week today and so my Mom and I are going to her school to do an activity and talk about how great she is.
She had one request. "now listen here, I only want Grammy to come to my school." we asked why and her very honest response. " Mom always has to puke and no one wants that around" I have to admit I see her reasoning I have assured her that I can hold my lunch for an hour. Then she offered to show me where the bathroom was just in case.
I will post pictures of Jessica in her class and maybe of the boy that has a serious crush on her. He is also in our ward, He is clean cut and his parents are totally RICH. Sounds like Yenta would be happy.

Morning Sickness strikes again

So you think that the first 3 months are over so is the morning sickness right? Not so!!! I have become quite close with all 4 of my parents toilets. I had to post about it because here I sit trying to find the funny in it all. Then I realized hey I can eat as much as I want and not have the calories stick. You are all jealous and I know it. Involuntary bulimia pass the dough nuts.

7 year itch!!

April 22, 2000 Eric and I were married. That means that last sunday was my 7 year anniversary. It came and it went rather uncelebrated.

Things kids say

So as we were driving past Jessica's school and she said "look there is my school" right next to it happens to be our ward building. Jessica then pipes up "look there is my church, well every bodies church in the whole world, unless your Jewish then you don't go there you have a different one." I had to laugh.
Jessica was with my Mom and I at Kohls looking for some clothes for my Mom. Jessica was being so helpful she would yell "Hey I found some more Grandma clothes over here" then she would announce "and here are some more old people clothes". You have to love that she calls it just like she sees it.

Easter Morning

The morning was a little early. We were heading to Burley to spend the day with my brother and his family. Totally fun

The Iona easter egg hunt

Jessica didn't get as many eggs at this one but she did get 2 sports drinks. In each of the eggs at this one was candy or coupons.

Super Egg Hunt

this is a easter egg hunt at the neighbors house they did 600 eggs and there were only about 20 kids. Each egg had either candy or money in it. She made bank

Letting a kid free with a camera can be umm INTERESTING!!

Jessica was feeling artistic and went around the house with the camera. I promise the toilet is clean just out of focus. Jessica took the picture of my Dad in his chair, he is tired a lot so he sleeps in the chair a lot. She got a little modern with the picture of my belly, doll, flowers and the dog was worn out from following Jessica on her picture hunt.

Mason wants to fly

My newest friend

This is my new friend Cynthia Cameron attorney at law. This is what a court house looks like. Not quite like Law and Order, but I think she could be on it (totally cute). I told my Mom that if when we walked in the court room we heard a dun dah. Then I would turn and run. I look large and in charge.

Young Women Big Natalie

This is me with my Mia Maids well not all of them but 2 and Julia Jessica's favorite babysitter. I think I am being told I have the maturity of a 15 year old because I always seem to get put in with the Mia Maids. But I fit there quite well and love it.

Ok so I think I have posted all the photos I have for right now. As you can see we were busy and Jessica had so much on our trip. I was totally lazy the whole trip which was wonderful.

Its a PARTY!!

Jessica's birthday has been going on for what seems like forever. Before we went to San Diego we had a little friends party here, then her class had a birthday party. Everyone in the class said something nice about her and one boy said she was cute. Her best little friend is named Morgan the same as in Texas. Then we had a party on her actual birthday in San Diego. Plus her Dad has spoiled her with presents. Needless to say she loves to get the mail. This is the inside of my parents 5th wheel.

Birthday Bike Fun

Jessica wanted to rent one of bikes that we could pedal together. Only trouble is she couldn't reach the pedals so I ended up doing all the work. We also gave my Mom and Dad a ride so Jessica moved to the basket. I look really big in this picture I am really big but not that really big I swear.

Beach fun

I thought it was a little cold it just happens I had bronchitis. Jessica didn't want to go in the water because she said the water was too cold. The water in Houston was much warmer. We had a great time anyway.
The one picture is of my brother's family.
Then there is the kids digging a massive hole in the ground they had a lot of help from my brother in law Jared too but I didn't get him in the shot.
I was covered in towels to keep from freezing and they were in suits. I still got a sun burn on my calves and feet.

Star fish hunting

This is Jessica and her cousin Tatelyn star fish hunting. Because they didn't want to go on the splash ride well Jessica didn't and Tate wasn't big enough even though she said " I big SEE" notice the diffent facial expressions later Jessica decided that the star fish weren't gross.

It takes a Manatee

Me and Jessica heading in to the manatee rescue. Yes I was hiding behind a large sea creature. I feel really big right now. By the end of the day I was having 6 to 7 contractions in an hour. Is that a problem. Nah cuz we all made it safe and sound but I did feel like a manatee out of water by the end.

Jessica said that penguin is kinda freaky mom. But when the other kids were getting their picture she decided the penguin wasn't as freaky.
Then there is the sea lions notice my nephew Carson is striking a pose and his brother is ready with the camera.

I almost forgot

Kami also brought cupcakes for everyone for Jessica's birthday. Huge hit with the short people. Ok and the tall ones.

Blast from the past

This is my dear friend Kami from Logan UT. Ok now she lives in Riverside CA. But she made the over 1 hour trip to see us. When we lived in Logan she was 2 houses down and we both had very small kids not so much anymore.
Totally fun to see her.

Kind of cold in CA

The kids loved that they saw a "real" pirate ship.
It was a little chilly but we were cool with it cuz we are so HOT.
Then there is everyone except me (I am behind the camera) on the ferry from San Diego to Cornodo Island. The kids thought that was too much fun. My nephew Brody said "Dad now this is memorable." Glad we could help Brody

Look what he is holding

This little bolt held up our travels for quite some time. We had to stop when we went into CA. To check if we had any citrus so they raided the fridge and confiscated our grapefruit and a yellow pepper. A definite threat to national security. Or at least to the farmers of CA. When we pulled out to catch up to my brothers rig we found our little treasure.
Here is also the whole family I forgot to mention that my brother Jared was ahead of us and had to run back about half a mile to help us change the tire. I am a little to big to lift the tire myself and Dad can't lift more than 5 pounds and my Mom is well my Mom so she couldn't do it. Anyway so my brother ran what a nice guy. We went to a truck stop tire store to get the tire fixed and they also found 3 nails and a partridge in a pear tree. Actually they laughed kind of hard it was like this massive hole from the bolt then 3 more little ones from the nails. We are evidently magnetic who know?

Fun in the Snow

This is Jessica and Carson and Stetson at Thanksgiving. A little late I know but better now than never.

Blog Much????

It has been awhile since I last wrote and I am sorry . Things have been a little up in the air. But on to good things Jessica and I went to San Diego for a vacation with my Mom, Dad, sister Jeanna and her family and my brother Jared and his family. All in all there was 15 people, 2 RV's and a mini van. Jessica has 3 cousins her age in those two families Elise who is almost a year older and exactly the same size and Carson and Stetson who are the twins.
Just before we left Eric sent Jessica a bike and she learned to ride without training wheels. She thinks she is a real pro. She is sporting a few war wounds from going too fast but I told her that means she is really a kid before it was a toss up.
We stayed at a KOA in San Diego. That was totally nice and they had cabins for the folks without an RV. There was a pool and playground needless to say Jessica was BUSY.
On the way down she let me know that riding in the truck with the old people (me, my mom and my dad) was not all that fun. Hey we tried to be cool but we couldn't be as cool as a van full of kids. So we were officially ditched for the van. So I got a quiet ride to San Diego and she had a blast. She learned to play hang man, Mother may I?, Jinx (heaven help me) and a plethera of others.
We celebrated her Birthday many times I actually have pictures of that.
We hit Sea World and got a little sun burned, and the beach. White pasty folks in California prime for burning.
Ok now I am going to try and do some pictures I will see how that little number goes

Where are the Gundersen's Going??

Ok well, some Gundersens are going one way and one is ummm,,, not.
Jessica and I are moving to Idaho and Eric will stay here, please forgive me that is really all the details for now.
I will have the baby in Idaho I still don't know what I am having other than a baby but will keep you all posted when I know.
I know blogs aren't very fun without pictures and so I will catch up on it once we settle in Idaho.
